There are 9 varieties of red daylilies with slide shows below. My favorites are Funny Valentine and South Street. Passion for Red & Desert Flame are both prolific bloomers which come out later in the season. The first & last to bloom each season is Earlybird Cardinal, a prolific rebloomer! Earlybird Cardinal's blooms may be small, but when it is the only daylily blooming they are most appreciated.
