2013 was the first year I started growing vegetables in our current house. I used to grow vegetables at the old house but didn't for first 11 years we lived in our current subdivision. Too busy with sports and scouting while our kids were growing up I guess.
You can see from the photos, I started out 2013 with just four 3 ft by 12 ft raised beds two landscape timbers high. The dirt (Rose Soil) was purchased from Living Earth. You will note I bought several more yard of dirt on 11-24-13 then added another layer of landscape timbers so the beds in 2014 will have more depth.
