In 2014, I actually kept track of tomatoes picked on each of my 20 tomato plants. I grew Beefsteak, Big Boy, Celebrity, Early Girl, Homestead and Rutgers tomatoes. Picked a total of 647 tomatoes from Apr thru Jul. See chart in middle of page. I also planted 3 Sweet 100 tomato plants that produced 100s of Cherry tomatoes.
In late June, I planted several Bonnie varieties: Heatmater, Hot Spell, Solar Flare & Summer Set. They produced tomatoes all fall. We did not have a freeze or significant frost until 01-05-15. On Jan 4th, I picked 340 tomatoes and a neighbor another 200 plus tomatoes. Most of which were Hot Spell and Summer Set. I don't generally grow fall tomatoes and when I do most of the time they don't do very well. So the year 2014 was an exception to the norm for me.

See below for chart of tomatoes picked by plant. The 647 tomatoes picked average out to 32 tomatoes per plant. One of the two Early Girls produced a whopping 93 tomatoes!
See below for chart of garden activities in 2014. It doesn't reflect everything I did, but does give the dates when most of my vegetables were planted and the names of the varieties and where I bought them (as best I can remember)
