I ordered 10 new daylily varieties (20 plants) from Ellies Daylilies on 04-13-21.  The daylilies arrived on 05-20-21.  Most of the daylilies did not bloom their first year.  However, in year two several varieties: Brocaded Gown, Amanda's Intrigue and Double Layer vaulted up to the top of my favorites list!

Almost Indecent did not survive year one so we are down to 9 varieties.  Forsyth Wrinkles and Crinkles has yet to bloom

2022 is the second year and the first year to bloom for most of these varieties.

FAVORITE FLOWERS

Brocaded Gown - 2 plants, 60 days with flowers, first bloom Apr 22, semi-evergreen, now my favorite yellow daylily, beautiful curved flowers, and to think in year 1 there was only one flower for one day, unbelievable difference the second year makes, looking forward to year 3, may need to divide the plants which appear to be vigorous growers, obviously rebloomed a number of times​

Amanda's Intrigue - 2 plants, 26 days with flowers, bloomed May 24 to Jul 21, semi-evergreen, could become my second favorite yellow daylily ... after Brocaded Gown, blooms properly supported by scapes, rebloomed​

Double Layer - 2 plants, 25 days with flowers, bloomed May 24 to Jun 29, semi-evergreen, one of my favorite double daylilies, flowers are relatively small but beautiful, flowers turn more yellow by end of day, nice variability in flowers, rebloomed

Malaysian Monarch - 2 plants, 20 days with flowers, bloomed Jun 5 to Jul 4, semi-evergreen, interesting triangular flower shape, rebloomed​

Prediction - 2 plants, 16 days with flowers, bloomed May 23 to Jun 14, semi-evergreen​

Rincon Del Mar - 2 plants, 6 days with flowers, bloomed Jul 4 to Jul 16, semi-evergreen, beautiful light purple & yellow ruffled edging, one plant did not bloom​

Superlative - 2 plants, 5 days with flowers, bloomed Jul 6 to Jul 15, semi-evergreen, only one plant bloomed, website pic doesn't show a double ... nice surprise​

Forsyth Wrinkles and Crinkles - 2 plants, no blooms or scapes forming, plants do look healthy
