Only order from Gilbert H Wild and Sons was on 02-07-21. I ordered two each of 11 new varieties. Order also included two plants each of Funny Valentine, Susan Pritchard Petit, Round Midnight & Scottish Fantasy and four plants of Erin Lea.
Plants were received on 03-04-21. Most of the varieties bloomed in their first year. Turns out the Round Midnight flowers have more spider like thin petals than the more traditional rounded petals in the website pictures. However, the skinny petal version produces far more flowers than the "more normal" Round Midnight daylilies I bought from Spring Hill. And the Susan Pritchard Petit daylilies produced just a couple of flowers with a hint of double in year one and absolutely none in year two. We'll have to see what year three brings! Other than that, I was very pleased with both the price and performance of the daylilies from Gilbert H Wild as you will see on this webpage.
I sorted these daylilies based upon 2022 bloom season into the following categories:
Favorite Flowers (4 varieties): Siloam Double Classic, Wyoming Wildfire, Kupferteller, Chicago Apache
Solid Performers (6 varieties): Round Midnight, Dynamic Duo, Gayle Palmer, Pizza Crust, Rags to Riches, Unlock the Stars
Wish for More Blooms (3 varieties): Francis Joiner, Fire King, Susan Pritchard Petit
See below for 5 pics for each variety from the 2022 bloom season.

FAVORITE FLOWERS
Siloam Double Classic - 2 plants, 36 days with flowers, bloomed Apr 20 to Jun 25, dormant, sometimes multiple blooms per day, rebloomed
Wyoming Wildfire - 2 plants, 38 days with flowers, bloomed May 8 to Jun 26, semi-evergreen, real pretty orange flowers, flowers look better as the day progresses, rebloomed
Kupferteller - 2 plants, 45 days with flowers, bloomed May 9 to Jul 12, semi-evergreen, flowers more pink in the morning and orange in the afternoon, flowers are actually prettier in the afternoon, rebloomed
Chicago Apache - 4 plants, 56 days with flowers, first bloom May 25, dormant, fast grower that produces multiple blooms on any given day, flowers do fade in heat and blooms can break off / crack if windy, rebloomed
SOLID PERFORMERS
Round Midnight - 2 plants, 27 days with flowers, first bloom Jun 18, evergreen, received 4 to 5 fans per plant which was a bonus, skinny almost spider like petals which have an interesting shape, petals should have been more rounded but I don't mind, rebloomed
Dynamic Duo - 2 plants, 20 days with flowers, bloomed May 11 to Jun 16, evergreen, first flowers show no double but that changes, more pink in the morning and yellow in the afternoon, the variation in bloom shape and color is good
Gayle Palmer - 2 plants, 14 days with flowers, bloomed May 14 to Jul 3, semi-evergreen, interesting ruffled purple flowers with yellow border, relatively weak scapes, rebloomed
Pizza Crust - 2 plants, 19 days with flowers, bloomed May 28 to Jun 23, dormant, rather skinny petals so not very full when all the way opened, relatively slow to open in morning, color improves in the afternoon heat
Rags to Riches - 2 plants, 16 days with flowers, bloomed May 29 to Jun 17, evergreen, ruffled flowers are more orange in the evening, actually look better at the end of a hot day
Unlock the Stars - 2 plants, 16 days with flowers, bloomed May 2 to Jun 18, semi-evergreen, some days more pink in the morning than others, normally more yellow in the evening, love the variability in blooms both shape and color, initial flowers had no double but that changed after a week or so, great double flowers
WISH FOR MORE BLOOMS
Francis Joiner - 2 plants, 12 days with flowers, bloomed Jun 5 to Jun 29, dormant, only 1 plant bloomed, double flowers that actually look prettier at the end of a hot day
Fire King - 2 plants, 7 days with flowers, bloomed Jul 12 to Jul 22, dormant, only one plant bloomed, a late bloomer, large flowers look great in the evening after a hot day, a prettier orange flower than Tuscawilla Tigress
Susan Pritchard Petit - 2 plants, 6 days with flowers, bloomed May 28 to Jun 9, semi-evergreen, only one of two plants bloomed, no double or even a hint of double flowers in year 2, flower is still pretty
